Bone Script Earrings

The Bone Script Earrings borrow their strange, skeletal forms from the figures and marks found in ancient rock art. Bodies become lines. Limbs stretch, multiply and bend. At this scale, a drawing becomes something you can wear.

For Ancient Summer, we kept returning to the marks people left before written language: figures painted onto rock, scratched into stone and repeated across generations. Bone Script takes that impulse and gives it weight in metal.

They are for people who doodle figures in the margins. Who have a favourite museum object that everyone else walks past. Who notice the tiny scratched drawing on a wall before the monument beside it. Who like their jewellery a little odd and difficult to explain.

Available as an asymmetrical pair, with one of each form, or as a symmetrical pair of either design.
