The Gùbà Necklace is named after the Proto-Bantu word for 'shield.' Handcrafted in Cape Town, South Africa, using the ancient lost-wax method, this hollowed, puffed piece is a symbol of protection. Carry it with you like armour. Available in your choice of brass and silver, with or without a diamond.
The Gùbà is strung on hand-dyed off-cut silk that can be styled in a number of ways. We recommend a double-choker with a pendant drop.
Details:
A single hollowed-shell shield in sterling silver or brass (48mm long; 10mm wide; approximately 8g)
Black hand-dyed off-cut silk (95cm)
Lab-grown diamond (0.25 carats; 4mm)
